Myra Bird grew up in the North Beach region of the Olympic Penninsula. Her mother, an artist, recognized Myra's talent at a young age and encouraged Myra to pursue her creative endeavors.
After Myra got her first tattoo, a Chestershire Cat, she started hanging out at her tattooist's shop where she fell in love with the body adornment culture as she was exposed to new music, new art, and new people…
Myra met Telisa Swan through her fiancé who grew up knowing the Swan family. Telisa was impressed with the sheer amount of drawings and skill depicted in Myra's work and offered Myra an apprenticeship- a rare opportunity which Telisa has only offered to the most promising artists.
Myra has now turned her passion into her profession as she exercises her creative talents as an official member of the Swan Family crew.
